Soon after the post surfaced on X, many users shared their thoughts in the comments. Some felt it was Ravi Shastri’s birthday but that was not the case as the legendary cricketer was born on May 27, 1962.

There were fans, who suspected that the X account of Ravi Shastri might have been hacked. The cricketer-turned-commentator has not revealed anything about that yet.

Keeping aside the confusion, many fans complemented the look of Ravi Shastri. They reckon the World Cup-winning player might have been preparing for an advertisement shoot.

A few years after bidding adieu to cricket, Ravi Shastri began his career as a television personality. Apart from doing commentary and participating in cricket-related discussions, he has also demonstrated his acting skills in many advertisements. Going by the fact, one social media user commented, “Happy Birthday legend, I am a big fan of your commentary. BTW, is it for a new advertisement?”
