Ahead of MI vs DC, India’s legendary duo, Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly were seen having a conversation at the Wankhede Stadium.

Ahead of the upcoming clash in the Indian Premier League (IPL) where Mumbai Indians take on Delhi Capitals at the Wankhede Stadium, two of Indian cricket’s biggest legends, Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly were reunited ahead of the game.

Tendulkar is currently the mentor for MI while Ganguly is the Director of Cricket for the Capitals. The two were seen having a chat on the ground during a practice session ahead of their upcoming fixture.

Mumbai Indians will look to get their first win of the season and turn the tides following a poor start to the season. They have played three games in the current season but have yet to pick up their first points.

Delhi Capitals on the other hand have only just one win in the four games they played so far. Their first points of the season came against the defending champions, Chennai Super Kings at Vizag where DC beat CSK by 20 runs. However, Rishabh Pant’s side has not been able to keep the side winning consistently and will look to bounce back after a tough loss against the Kolkata Knight Riders.

Both Tendulkar and Ganguly will have had chats with the players to ensure that they come into the next game with a fresh mindset and hopefully perform for their respective franchises.

MI has had the boost with Suryakumar Yadav returning to the squad following a long spell of absence owing to ankle surgery. He last played in the T20I series during India’s tour of South Africa.

The return of Sky will be a big plus for not only MI but the Indian team as well with the side looking to see the best of the number one ranked T20I batter ahead of the T20 World Cup which comes up following the ongoing IPL.

DC on the other hand could still miss out on the services of their star spinner, Kuldeep Yadav who has yet to recover from the niggle he picked up earlier in the season. This will be a big blow for the side as they lack a wicket-taking option in their current bowling line-up.
