West Ham United fans have been getting ready for the Europa Conference League final by serenading a train carriage with their song about Lucas Paqueta.
It’s not been a vintage season for West Ham in the league this year, especially compared to their recent campaigns in the Premier League.
They battled against relegation having been a whisker off the top six just a year before, although they survived relatively comfortably in the end.
And now more fans have gone viral over their rendition of the ‘We Buy Any Car’ advert song ‘Just Sold My Car’ in tribute to midfielder Paqueta, as you can see below.
Paqueta was pretty impressive at times for Brazil during last winter’s World Cup but he took some time to get going for David Moyes’ team.
However he has scored six goals and assisted four more in the campaign so far and was one of the better players in the second half of the season.
He will be hoping to have a massive impact in the final and help win the Hammers’ first major trophy in Europe since winning the Cup Winners’ Cup in 1965.
It could help earn Italian football a nightmare 10 days of finals, with Roma having already lost the Europa League final to Sevilla on penalties.
Inter Milan face Manchester City in the Champions League showcase on Saturday night, with the English champions heavy favourites.
It is the second year in-a-row that Moyes’ side have made it far in European competitions after making the Europa League semis last year.
They would need to win on Wednesday night to be back in Europe come August, having finished well down the table this time around.
They will likely have to do it without Declan Rice with expectation that the game with Fiorentina will be the midfielder’s last for the Irons.
