Jose Mourinho gave Europa Conference League keychain to Dutch journalist

Jose Mourinho not only proved he’s still got it on the pitch but also as the ultimate s***house in the press room, by handing out a hilarious prank gift to a Dutch journalist.

It was a good night for Mourinho on Thursday, as he and Roma progressed to the semi-finals of the Europa League, with a win over Feyenoord.

An 80th minute goal from the Eredivisie leaders looked to be taking them through but Paulo Dybala, who’d been brought on late by Mourinho, scored an 89th minute goal to take the game to extra time.

But it wasn’t just on the pitch where Mourinho got the better of the Dutch, handing over a keychain of the Europa Conference League trophy to a journalist, as a reminder that Roma beat Feyenoord in the final last season.

He became not just the first man to manage a club to the Europa Conference League, but also the first to win all three, seeing as it was the competition’s inaugural year.

The 60-year-old celebrated by getting a tattoo unique to him, of all three of the trophies, saying, “I wanted a unique tattoo, one that, so far, I am the only one who can have it…”

His team now look in a very good spot to go on and add another trophy to the collection, although getting past Leverkusen isn’t guaranteed.

Should they manage that though, they will face either domestic rivals Juventus or Sevilla, after the Spanish side knocked out Manchester United.

The club from the Italian capital aren’t currently relying on European success in order to qualify for next season’s Champions League.

Even with Juventus getting their 15 points back, the Stadio Olimpico side are currently fourth in Serie A, three points clear of Champions League semi-finalists AC Milan.

That actually refers to all three of the other teams remaining in the Europa League, Sevilla, Juventus and Leverkusen, but not Roma.
